Easy semiya pulav


Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup - roasted semiya
  • 1/2 cup - grated carrot 
  • 1/4 cup - grated coconut 
  • 1 - onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 - green chillies (chopped)
  • 1 inch piece - ginger (chopped)
  • 1 - tomato (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp - oil 
  • 1&1/2 cups - water 
  • Salt to taste
  • Corriander leaves, to garnish 


Method

  • Heat oil in a pan and saute onion, ginger, green chillies (the color must not change)
  • Add in the chopped tomatoes and saute well.
  • Add enough salt and water and let it boil
  • Once the water starts bubbling, add the roasted semiya, mix and cover and cook for 5 mins.
  • Add in the grated carrot and coconut and garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
