VERMICELLI BURLEE




Vermicelli – 450gm
Butter – 113gm
Sugar Syrup – 180ml

Filling:
Dry Milk Powder – 150gm
Custard Powder – 20gm
Sugar – 10gm
Water – 450ml
Sweetened Condensed Milk – 250ml

For Garnish
Banana Slices
Strawberry Slice

Preparation
  1. Melt butter, combine with vermicelli, mix well by hand, spread the quantity into 2 circular oven pans, (diameter 22cm), and bake into hot oven until golden, stand to cool, pour sugar syrup over the 2 pans equally.
  2. Combine filling ingredients except condensed milk, cook over heat till boiling and thick sauce, stand to cool inside fridge for 1 hour, add condensed milk and mix well until homogeneous mixture.
  3. Spread filling over one vermicelli disc, cover with other disc garnished with banana and strawberry slices, stand in refrigerator till serving.
